Just got this game today. If you're expecting the fast-pace combat of Marvel VS Capcom, this isn't your cup of tea. Battles here are more slower and more strategic. There's always that moment where you go "Woah did I just do that?"
Characters stay true to themselves too. Although I really do have to question the roster. Solomon Grundy? Really?
But yeah it's a solid fighting game. Fighting actually feels like it has lots of meat to it. The arenas are cool as hell as well. They are some neat little details in the backgrounds but the multiple areas really isn't anything special.
It's too early for me to tell whether the combat is balanced alright, me and my brother had a go at a few rounds at each other. Deathstroke f*cking owns. His moveset reminds me of Deadpool's moveset in MVC3. Oh, and Hawkgirl sucks. She can barely do any damage at all.
And the story is decent enough. You just have to forgive the cinematics.
Looks like it may be alright. The $60 price tag is just too much for a fighting game anymore in my opinion
Usually I would agree with this statement. You should have seen how furious I was with Marvel VS Capcom 3 back then. But for Injustice, this game has quite the content. There's minigames, various battle modes, decent multiplayer lobbies and heck a Training Mode that's actually good.
I completed the story, it takes roughly about five hours to complete. But the content to go through after that will take me awhile. The story was decent enough, ending could have been a lot of better. There were only a few highlights in the story, like when Batman said "He was my son." That part gave me chills man.
Although I really did not like the part Catwoman played in the story. Her part was so out of character. I have quite some gripes with the story, like how the whole parallel universe was so unnecessary. But hey, at least it's a fighting game with a narrative right?
The guy with the green hair made me lol hard for some reason.
Not seen the trailer yet, But judging by the screens It looks good. When I saw the name I was like "Oh another boring RPG game", But this does look very interesting, Story seems quite short judging by pain's post where he said it took only roughly 5 hours. So I'm glad there are some mini-games, Multiplayer and Battle modes to compensate for it. Might definitely give this a look in the future.

You just did not called The Joker the guy with the green hair. You simply... just don't. And it's certainly not an RPG game.
Something neat I just discovered in the Arkham level. Transiting from area to area shows awesome cameos by Scarecrow, Killer Croc, The Riddler, Two-Face and Penguin. What's even cooler is that they are using the character models from the Arkham games. Not the best video to showcase it but it's the only video I could find that's decent.
Wish more people would play this. It's the best fighting game I've played this generation.

I have the free tablet version, and I enjoy it from time to time. I would only get console version with a price drop if at all. I don't really go for fighters like this because they haven't really evolved enough from original SF and MK, but this looks good.

This game SUCKS. Just played it... Terrible. I had a good time 'cause I played with a friend, but this game was a waste. Definitely not worth it's full retail price. Story mode was about 2 hours and a half long and there's nothing to do once you finish it other than get your ass kicked online.

The game actually looks pretty cool. I couldn't see it having any replay value, though. Looks like there's some pretty cool fighting tactics involved from what I've seen.

Question: Can you get the other versions of the characters in multiplayer? Because I played the mobile version of it on my iPhone and I saw that I could get Nightwing in his red costume.

Yes you can. That's his New 52 alternative costume. I have no idea how I unlocked it though. I neither have the mobile version nor I've not purchased anything. It just appeared out of nowhere.
I'm still having fun with this game. Currently trying to get all the characters' endings through the Classic Battle Mode for the very sake of the completionist inside me and the achievements. I must say though, a couple of characters I really found to be pretty weak. Hawkgirl and Shazam. They simply just there on the roster because they do f*ck all.
I think my best character so far has to be The Joker. The freakin JOKER. I went through the Classic Battle Mode with other characters and they lost a battle like once or twice throughout the mode. But with The Joker, never lost a battle once. Not even the final boss fight. I crowbar'ed the sh*t outta that one.
