This happens in the first Four Dragons mission, where a dude is tied to the hood of a Feltzer.
Right after CJ enters the vehicle and starts driving out from the garage - he can't drive out! I only see the rear wheel spinning and it looks like something is on the way and CJ cannot pass.

I reinstalled the game - it did not help.

I've played the game three times before on the same computer and I never witnessed this problem hitherto.

I don't know for a fact, what is the cause of this. And yet I do suspect the latest version of SAMP which came with a variety of new files.

Do you have any mods installed? Where have you got the game from? Have you tried removing the gta_sa.set file located at C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files?

I only have mods for Freeway and Wayfarer.SAMP too is a mod. I got the game from a retailer. It has worked fine for seven years.
No,I have not deleted .set file. Why? I understand that .set file merely saves my display, keyboard and sound settings. How can removing it solve issues in the game?

I think there's an issue with that mission cut-scene, try turning ON frame-limiter or skip the cut-scene immediately.

Have you tried removing those mods and see if the mission works? If yes, than those are causing the issue. Removing the gta_sa.set file sometimes helps since it refreshes the memory of the game. I'm not completely sure of this though, but it indeed helps in a lot of situations, so it's worth a try. You won't lose much stuff besides the controls in case you reset them, they'll be turned back to default.

Remove your mods and delete your .set file, like miromiro said. Deleting the .set file works for many glitches and errors. smile.gif

Sometimes even in an unmodded clean game that happens. Sometimes people disable the Frame Limiter to get the most out of their PC's, though the game isn't prepared for such high framerates and some cutscenes won't render properly, such as Fender Ketchup's. As suggested above, or either enable the frame limiter temporarily or skip the cutscene.
