Old Boy

I vote for Old Boy because its beautifully acted and has got a powerful and moving script. Its got a lot of action and had me on the edge of my seat. I just kept guessing what was going to happen next. It represents a new wave of movie making with the script and acting. There's only good things I can say about. Definitely give this a watch.

I'd have to watch Old Boy again to give a proper opinion. For the moment I remember enjoyinh Mesrine parts 1 and 2 a bit more than Old Boy. Old Boy has real cult status but Mesrine seems to be a little underrated or over-looked. I like Mesrine cause it's like a GTA. One guy hell-bent on crime, robberies, crazy prison breaks and high-speed chases. All based on real life guy as well.

Old Boy has slipped my memory as I haven't seen it since about 2004. Must watch it again.

OldBoy

While I enjoyed both parts of Mesrine, and agree with Pink that it was unappreciated, it really has nothing on OldBoy. I have watched this film countless times, so much so that I can watch without the subtitles and know what is being said. The direction is amazing, some of the shots are just breathtaking, yet subtle. The story itself is brilliant as well, with an ending that will stick with me for the rest of my life. Everone's acting is top notch, can't fault anyone in this department. If I wasn't working right now I would write a f*cking essay on how much I love Oldboy but ill keep it short and sweet.

Pink, watch it again, I think you will agree it deserves the status its got.
