Now here is a logic of list being small.

This is not a mistake by rockstar, it's normal that they use same instead of making new for every game.
Also, since it's max payne 3 why you except lot of cars etc, I also doubt that these are only for cutscenes since I had not seen any one hijacking car in max payne in gameplay

-Why would R* work on a game for five years and not have more vehicles than this if many are already rehashed?

Its nulls everything, and the game wont read it. Say if you put it infront of a weapon it will not load that weapon etc....

Been playing Max Payne 3 all day, the vehicles used in the game (parked cars, chase sequences) look like and act exactly like they were from GTA IV, only updated. They even react the same when shot. It's not out of the question for them to have used GTA V car models in the game as it would just be like importing data into the game for MP3 (due to the same engine being used).

It's a pretty cool insight into GTA V and should definitely be taken as such.
