| QUOTE (illegal_luggage @ Tuesday, May 22 2012, 22:28) | | QUOTE (AK47-Mentalman @ Tuesday, May 22 2012, 22:27) | I really enjoyed GTA IV & Saints Row (1) because they were fun but grounded, they weren't stupid and overly childish, and GTA was realistic enough to immerse myself into without becoming a joke.
I really hope GTA V is more like IV than San Andreas, I feel like i'm the only person on this forum who thinks IV kicks San Andreas in the nuts.
Smaller map? Who cares.
Liberty City was a playground for big kids I never wanted to leave. |
I agree with you too. IV was more fun and I love the handling of vehicles in GTA IV. | Definitely. The car physics were unflawed in my opinion. Seriously, that is one of the largest key decisions about V that will make it a winner or not. If it handles like IV, each car had it's own style and physics, then i'll enjoy it all the more. I loved just driving around seeing if I could park a Feltzer with a parallel park haha

I've played and enjoyed all of the Saints Row games (though SR1 and SR2 have not aged well at all, they're pretty bad by todays standards). SR3 was a blast to play through, fully enjoyed it from start to finish. But as with SR2, the DLC's are a joke. They're really poor and short. The GTA Episodes were awesome (not so much TLAD, IMO) and great value. That said, if GTA V is everything it can be on current consoles, it doesn't need DLC episodes to expand the game IMO. I would not be disappointed with another 2 episodes for GTA V, but I wouldn't be surprised if they go with smaller DLC that has great replay value rather than a 10-15 hour DLC episode.
