Hello everyone out there,
Few days back I thought of making a concept thread on Los Santos. I have completed the backstory-of-the-protagonist part, so I thought I would share a summary, so that I can understand how well/bad you guys receive it. So here it goes:
Setting: Los Santos, San Andreas
Year: Present day
Story
The story puts the player in the shoes of Luis Leibnitz, son of a devoted LSPD officer. During the 1990’s when the city was flooded with drug mafias and gangbangers, his father had led several expeditions that brought many underworld leaders, in particular leaders of the El Dominos gang, before the law and suppressed much of the shady activities. This brought their wrath on the Leibnitz family, who were to face an impending disaster. Luis was cheated and dragged into a drug trafficking case, for which he was sentenced a bitter 10 years imprisonment. Luis’ parents were gunned down and their house was set on fire and his only sister was trafficked. All the while he was in the prison, he got news about the tragedy that struck the family, only to get himself hardened in the inside. Enraged, he vowed to kill the mobster and to swipe out the El Dominos. In the quest for the same, Luis Leibnitz rises from a local lad to the don of the mafia chain in the state.
Somewhere during the story, I plan a trip to Vice City and also a reference to Tommy. Luis is heavily sought after in the state and is forced to leave. He is offered a shelter in Vice city, by a mafia leader named Anthony Vercetti, settled there, who in fact is a friend of Luis’ mentor.
Anthony, better known as Little Vercetti, is the son of Tommy Vercetti, the legendary drug mafia king. Tommy was killed in a plane crash and Anthony, who took over the businesses, could not run them properly as they were highly destabilized. Anthony asks Luis to help him out, which the latter agrees.
