Hi all, I've been using this mod called Chikamru's Real Traffic and he offers his own commandline and the asi file things like that. But what I would like to ask is, if I use his commandline, will it damage my graphics card? His one goes like that:

-norestrictions
-nomemrestrict
-percentvidmem 100
-memrestrict 681574400
-memrestrict 629145600
-availablevidmem 2
-noprecache
-novblank

I notice that he has conflicting commands but his commandline seems to make the texture bug go away. But when I access the graphics settings in the game's menu, I see that the total memory has increased and it's red in colour even though my memory usuage is well below the recommended on. So may I know if I use his commandline, will my graphics card overheat or something like that or I can just use the original stock commandline, because I also suffer from the texture bug.

Thanks.

i've downloaded the same traffic load and i have the same doubt.
i will try to forget commandline.txt and i wont put it in my main folder, see how it goes.
i know that commandline can damage your computer if it has low resolution.
anyways, you can try using it and see how it works. if you have problems just quit it and that's all.

But without commandline, will there be any problems? I can run the game at max, no problem but the texture suffers, as in, sometime into the game, the texture will start to bitch around.

that's the fighting between the LOD object and the original model (detailed model)
i dont think there is gonna be any problem cuz you have good specs and good resolution.

But if I still have the texture problem? Should I use memrestrict?

try not to put commandline.txt in the main folder and see how it works.
nomemrestrict tells the system to use the max GB it can use. it is cheated and i not recommend you to use the commandline if you dont have 6GM RAM or more free to use.

if you have 8GB RAM you can use commandline but that red Resource usage is weird so you better not to use it.

True. Anyway I used the memrestrict command only and the problem seems to have disappeared LOL. What Chikamru gave are conflicting ones so people better not use them. Thanks for your help, dude!
