Every time I launch Grand Theft Auto IV and put in my information, it's always "Social club login failed, please try again." This isn't an account issue, I've tried that hundreds of times. This isn't what I paid for, and I'd really appreciate someone's help.

Eventually, I reopen the window and it lets me log in with the same account information, usually after about half an hour of waiting and trying. Thanks.

EDIT: NOT antivirus/firewall/network issues.

Log fully into Market Place - then run GTA IV

R* servers are a mess, sadly. This issue will probably lessen with time as people move away from MP3 to other games.

So, whenever I double click the icon, the log in tab doesn't even come up it just brings a big blank box and then says "GTA IV FATAL ERROR WS10". I have tried many different .NET Frameworks and stuff like that but it doesn't work. I think I have just wasted my money, so please help me so I can play.

Alright, glad others are having this issue. Let's hope it stops happening eventually, perhaps when everyone floods to GTAV?

You should reinstall GFWL http://www.rockstargames.com/support/IV/PC/GFWLupdate/

Which windows version do you have? If have fudged up your .net installation, it's going to be a mess to fix it.

Download the latest patch from :

Then download the latest Games For Windows Live from :
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/977845

Make sure you have .Net Framework 3.5.1 installed in your PC if not then download from :
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=17851

If you still have the error then visit :

Done Now go like a man and open GTA IV
