Hello, i have a problem, i can't take taxi's. I am in chapter three.

I find a empty taxi, and press "E" and nothing happens, and if i hold "F" i just steal the taxi.

You gotta press E to hail the Taxi and hold F to get in. Anyway, if that doesn't work, why not call Roman for a Taxi Service? Here's some information I found somewhere:

It still don't work. When i hold F i still steal the taxi, and "Taxi service" is not on the list (like Show and Darts) when i call Roman.

It worked about 6 months ago in chapter 1 i think, but i had to uninstall the game because it crashed.

Have you finished Vlad's "Bull In a China Shop" and "Hung Out To Dry"? I've read somewhere that you need to pass one of these missions to unlock the taxi hailing option.

Isn't this feature unlocked a bit later in the game?

Yes, that is the 4th and 5th misson in chapter 1.

Does the "Hold [F] to enter cab as passager" message appear after you've pressed E?
If it doesn't appear, you'll apparently need to also hold E and after that message appears, hold F too.
Hold key E until Niko whistles for a Taxi to come and pick him up.

No that message don't appear.

Nothing is still not happening if i hold "E".

But it worked before, so i know how it should be.

Be sure to get close to it, maybe even touch it. Make also sure there's nobody else in the taxi except the driver. Hold E and after about 5 seconds, if the message I posted above appears, hold F for about 5 seconds. If that still doesn't work, let's try to move on.

Have you installed any mods / trainers?

Can it be because i installed a savegame? I will try to install an other one with about the same progress in the game

But does it work on your save game? Check out the controlls on the new save game, the controls might be changed. If they are, turn them back to default.
