Why not put a 1000 character line so that to set up a gang on GTAF you have to have at least 1000 characters to post a topic, to help stop clutter.

Well, as far as I'm aware you can go up to 500,000 characters in your post, 15 images and 15-20 smiles (not sure).

He's talking about having a rule in place wherein it won't let you post a new topic in the Gangs forum if your first post isn't at least 1000 characters.

However, any such move on our part will only prove to be detrimental to the gang scene. If people are forced to make long posts just to get a gang topic underway, it will only scare them away. The Gangs forum exists to encourage people to create new gangs, which in turn, is expected to boost activity. You don't need a 1000 characters or really fancy graphics to describe what gang you're starting. It's enough if you can keep it brief and to the point. Participate in MP events and get yourself and your gang noticed. That's the general idea.

Yeah, and if this rule was added, it would suck for The Yardies because their entire post is just images
