I have always been a console gamer. But I am ready to take the next step into gaming. I have been watching alot of mod videos, etc. I want a good PC to run games like Arma 2, GTA 4, Fallout 3, Skyrim, etc. But I have no idea what im doing. Id hate to spend 600 on a PC that doesnt even run my favorite games. I need to get it online because the only place around here thats any good is Best Buy and I dont think they have good gaming rigs (if any). I dont know if I should buy one pre-built, or buy all the parts and build it myself (which would be terrible for me). I want the whole setup, good gaming monitor, mouse, keyboard, PC, etc. So I need help on what to choose, Graphics cards, proccesors, etc. Any advice would be much apriciated. Thanks.

1) Are you averse to building yourself in principle? Its really not very hard as long as you can hold a screwdriver the right way and are a little careful at times.

2) Budget?

Based on your $600 budget (assuming that is how much you are going to spend), then the best I can configure is this.
Note: Windows 7 is not included, but was added to the first setup to give a idea of how much a computer will really cost. Don't need the OS? Just remove it from the list.
