Confessions from La Cosa Nostra
Prologue
A quiet night in the city of Westdyke, not many sounds of annoyance happened outside my window. As I remained awake staring at the ceiling which was practically not in my sights for the darkness had covered it almost completely. Knowing that in my agenda for the morning involved doing something that could probably end my life, the feeling of fear and confusion crowded in my mind causing the lack of sleep.
I finally had the strength to close my eyes to rest for a while, but my alarm had awaken me. When that alarm clock went off my heart was beating at a very fast rate, it almost felt like it tried to escape my body attempting to stop me from what I was doing but nonetheless I had to continue towards my objective.
I picked myself up from bed and prepared myself for the day. I brushed my teeth, put on respectable clothes, ate some leftover lasagna that my mother made last night.
I live in a big expensive house in Westdyke neighboring an empty house which looked beautiful with a great porch, entrance, garage, and the pool in the back yard was all breathtaking. That house could've been mine a long time ago but it never really got my attention until now.
This compound was getting more and more dull everyday due to the activity around here, but what are going to do about that, I know I can't do anything about it with the fact that I'm going to die soon.
The clock struck quarter after ten, it was time to make my to the diner in Hove Beach. I was suppose to meet a detective from East Holland to have a long talk about.... The Corsino Crime Family.
Traffic was unbearable, I took the Booth Tunnel instead of heading towards Hickey Bridge, sure enough the amount of vehicle that enter this tunnel must have a great patience because all you do in here is wait for the traffic to fix itself. I decided to take that time to relax and put some music to decrease my stress. Night Fever by the Bee Gees came on which reminded me of my young times back in the 70's and look at me now, in 1998 on my way to what could be my death sentence.
I finally arrived at the diner but I came in late, about an hour late but that was all because of the traffic. I sat down across from the detective in a booth and ordered a coffee with cream and sugar and started the interview.
The detective writes down " Friday, November 13, 1998. Richard Nicholas Bardino a.k.a. Richie Blackhand exposes the Corsino Crime Family." on a notepad. He asked me if I was ready, I was nervous but I answered yes and started the interview.
The interview started with the question " What was your role in the family?". I told him " I was a big role in the family, I was their Caporegime controlling their drug operations in Vice City, San Andreas, here in Liberty as well, and I was bringing in a lot of income. Making a total of 10 million dollars a month." Once he knowledge how much money I was bringing in, he couldn't believe it.
He then refreshed his mind and asked me another question, " How did you get in the family?". When he asked me that question I knew it was time for a long story, so I prepared myself a cigarette and lit it with the lighter given to me by a close friend of mine who was in the life also.
I took the first puff and said in a ready manner "Here's how it all started..."
