Also, as noone seems to have mentioned yet, if you want any more proof "GTA" files are on this disc, watch GooDNTS video on Youtube or download the data.rar that Fantaseb posted and see for yourself:
... among many other things:
- gtarainemitter.xml
- gtarainrender.xml
- gtastormemitter.xml
- gtastormrender.xml

Fantaseb: Yeah, that's definitely the files on the MP3 discs.

They have no .img files inside MP3 ISO so I cant see any cars, and if they do have any .img files I have not found them yet as they are hidden.

user posted image

As you can see nothing in models except .rpf, and that is through the whole game just RPF files.

San Andreas. Don't forget the dates on the files.. in object.dat there is:

CODE
; Title  : Object.dat
; Date  : 03/02/00

(most likely the YY/MM/DD format)

Ah, I don't know man..

No, this it DD/MM/YY, and is just file creation date. Here is same file from GTA III:
CODE
; Title  : Object.dat
; Author : Richard Jobling
; Date  : 03/02/00
;
; 09/05/2001 - Andrzej: - some new Collision Damage Effect numbers added;
; 14/07/2001 - Andrzej: - smash_barpost_completely added;

[CODE]By the way, have someone made a list of only new cars, that wasn't in GTA IV files?

Yes, I have, you can find the LIST OF VEHICLES THAT ARE NOT IN GTAIV VEHICLES.IDE here, though some of them clearly belong to MP3 (and others not so clearly but do belong there too).

Found ANOTHER San Andreas leftover.

The file ar_stats.dat is just the same as San Andreas'.

Is Rockstar seriously that lazy? No wonder their games won't fit 1 DVD anymore.

I don't want to read the whole thread, but I don't get it what would the GTA V files be doing on Max Payne 3 DVD?? whatsthat.gif

Why would Rockstar do that? It makes no sense.

It's because of the RAGE engine. They probably had GTA V up and running back when MP3 first started development, or there was a certain time in development for Max Payne that they needed to test out cars and just borrowed from GTA V.

Considering everything refers to Manhattan and NJ, that's probably another complete leftover from IV.

Its not, the OP starter and his friend recieved a copy of GTAV instead of Max Payne 3, its been awesome, have you seen the footage of the mountain yet. The guys have stated that their are snowploughs that are drivable, and their is a chairlift for when you get older in the game, you can get up the stairs in you're safehouse to the second floor, other than that their is now confirmed a rhino, yes the rhino is back, but this time it is the animal rhino, it is rideable from los santos to vice city.

Maybe they're vehicles you use when playing missions set by 'Jimmy'. When you look at the vehicles listed under 'Jimmy', they're all pretty specialized. The APC, Dune, Seinove (69), they're not exactly normal traffic vehicles.

Hurrikane is trolling you by the way tounge.gif

Is Rockstar seriously that lazy? No wonder their games won't fit 1 DVD anymore.

All these files combined are <1MB, don't be stupid.

That was also in GTA IV.

File structure is the same, they started off making the game by using GTAIV's files as a base and then created the game from there.
