Hello, I recently downloaded GTA ivaud. I want to edit a gun sound. When I run ivaud, it says I need to open something? I do not know what to open. Please help, thank you!

You have to open the rpf files located in:
...Grand Theft Auto IV\pc\audio\sfx
with SparkIV or OpenIV. Into these rpf files there should be ivaud files.

then search for resident.rpf

click on RESIDENT and then any of them:

sound format must be .WAV PCM little endian(LE) 16 bits. should be the same sample rate as the sound to replace.

with a soft called MOoo audio converter. totaly free and with all the audio types and sample rates, etcetera
