Alright, If I can, i'm going to convert the Manhunt files from each individual Manhunt level and squash them together (in chronoligical order according to my multiple playthroughs of Manhunt) into a large roamable city. Now, I've already tried MANY .bsp importers/viewers (the files that contain Manhunt maps - Binary Space Partition File) but I have not yet succeeded, so thats why I created this topic, to ask for much needed assistance. I've done alot of "research" but it seems the .bsp compatible programmes were created only in mind for Half Life 2 and Quake and it's proving real difficult to find any chance of hope.

I do know, however, that it is POSSIBLE! There is a mod already released with areas from Manhunt in it, it seems totally irrelivant to the mod's name though (Criminal Russia), but yet again something has to prevent me, the modders or people involved seem ignore me, along with everyone else, this is most likely because of the reason they might not speak English!. And here are the problems I have faced, or atleast programmes I've tried already:

RW Analyze	When I attempt to import a .dff extracted from a Manhunt scene using KAMS scripts in 3ds Max 2010 I get an error message saying "Not a Void DFF File!"
BSP Viewer	When attempting to open a Manhunt map it says something along the lines of "Not a Half Life 2 Map"
BSP Factory	-
BSP Map Compiler	-
GCFScape	-
winbspc	"Unknown .bsp format"
somersbsp	"Unexpected file format"
globe_3d_08_aug_2010	I have no idea how to even work this thing!

Alright, so I need help from you pleasent individuals on the GTAF I'm not sucking up in anyway, not at all Anything would be appreciated, maybe one of you will go to the extreme and create a tool yourself! So, ANYTHING, this here-by issue is getting pretty darn old!

@jaky2008, I'm down to help you but I've never played Manhunt myself. I am not that good at modeling and converting but I know a little. Just PM me or something?

Now i'm wondering, shall I turn SanAndreas into a double of Manhunt (a snuff film and even the same missions in general) or a free roam mod with no plot? (I think that is better) If I was to make a double of Manhunt I already have the Manhunt video files (RAD Video Tools) so it could play them. Also if it is free roam should it have Cash as the main character or CJ? Anyhow I'll stick to actually converting the map first then see where it goes from there!

jaky, I believe there's a mod named Carcer City by bammagera or something. anyway, it's very hard to create missions and submissions. And for the first BETA release, the free-roam is alright. But for free-roam, you need to have some attractions that make people wanna play the free-roam. Because cruising through roadblocks is just plain boring.

Yeah, my carcer city is completely different and nothing to do with Manhunt, so don;t get your hopes up

I was never planning on calling it Carcer City anyway, preferablly something like SanHUNT (this is actually the name of my webs site.

Hahaha yeah it has nothing to do with Manhunt. But um, SanHUNT sounds worse. I mean, it sounds very comical and not like it's supposed to. I suggest a better name than SanHunt, but its still your choice.

Don't mention it. And yes people on GTAForums think they are nuts but still are helpful in some ways.

According to the moderators, conversions from other games are not allowed on the gta.net network (GTAF and GTAGarage) therefore this might not last long (topic+help), especially since you have no progress or clue.

BTW "not a void file" means it is a valid file. (post 1)

Yeah, that void thing was why it confused me, if something is void it is not valid, so why can't it import a valid file!? So incase this does suddenly go can anyone actually help me with accessing the .bsp's?

Also I know that conversions aren't allowed, but seriously is there anywhere else to post? like a forum that actually gets responses? no . That spoiler bit ruined your post though, it made you look like a right nobhead, which by the way i'm trying not to be at the moment. The part about me not having a clue.... obviously? I mean I NEED help, without help i'll get nowhere, which is happening right now.

Hey nice idea man, I have been thinking of the same thing myself to make a GTA mod with Manhunt cheme. Or call it GTA manhunt mod... Same thing the point is if you need help on sound producing, voices, music or textures then let me know and I see what can I do.

Man up, you whiner. You're just pissed off because I'm not going to kiss your ass all day. There's no need to extend this bitchfight any longer than it already has been- just shut up. Okay? The moderators step in when they feel they're needed, and don't just hover over us the way many think they do, something I have learned with experience. Now go back to your dreams of a game-within-a-game, and stop pissing and moaning. I personally never really got why people can't just play the game (in this case manhunt) instead of trying to convert it. And its obvious you have little to none in terms of understanding about this anyways, judging by your "progress" and numerous unsolv-able/ed problems.
