| QUOTE (CJ430 @ Monday, Jun 11 2012, 16:23) | | but i haven't downloaded it and im not going to do it... a friend told me about it and i was just curious... | You seem unable, financially, to upgrade even the cheapest components in your system. I doubt you paid £100 for a legitimate Win7 license when you switched from XP. But that's besides the point- I and others have done all we can to help really. Your issues are caused by your overclocking a system not designed for it, by not meeting the minimum specs on the games you want to play, and by carelessly removing all the thermal interface material from your components. We've told you how to resolve your issues, and you've either ignored our posts or in the case of your response to YankeesPwnMets, just been downright rude. So do yourself a favour- either follow our advice an let us know whether it worked, in which case even if it didn't we may be more help, or ignore us but stop posting stupid topics.

CJ, the problem with you is that you don't take the time do your research about what you see/hear. You just see its name and automatically think it is good. Windows 7 Gamer Edition doesn't make a single difference in game performance, and just because something has the word "turbo" in it doesn't necessarily mean it is good.
If I were to let you choose which college you wanted to go to, you would probably choose some school with a random name like "Albert Einstein School of Excellence" over something like Harvard just because the name sounds good.
I took a look at your previous topic, and you have clearly demonstrated that you have absolutely NO clue whatsoever about computers, yet you think that you can do something so risky like overclocking without even bothering to do research. The first time I overclocked a computer I did many hours of research to try and soak up as much knowledge as I could, before attempting. You messed around in the BIOS without having ANY background information about OC. You're pretty damn lucky you didn't just fry your computer right then and there.
Matter of fact is, your problem is that you simply think that you know everything and the rest of us don't know what we are talking about. I've studied computers from my sophomore year in high school all the way until I graduated college, and I also work in the computer industry, and I'm 31 now. I'm sure there are members here who have even more experience than me. Guess what? We KNOW what we are talking about, and brushing aside advice from someone who knows more than you isn't going to get you ANYWHERE in life. I learned that the hard way back in middle school...
