I've read a few comments on IGN saying that other websites have confirmed it's a fake. Apparently the pictures are low res and easily available on google images. What's more, a lot of people have described it as a sales pitch more than a detailed five year plan. I would guess it's an elaborate hoax but then again...

Yeah I was thinking it seem a little weak. Knowing that this can be possible coming from Microsoft. It looks too illustrated to just be leaked.

EDIT: OK, I reread it and the 2013 "3 Screen" block describes something similar, but I'm still not convinced.

The three CPU's inside makes me think it's bull crap. I'm sure the next Xbox will just have one CPU and GPU and for media playback, it can just underclock itself or something to reduce power consumption. As for the backwards compatability, it really depends on what CPU and GPU is inside the next Xbox. If it's another AMD/ATi made one then good backwards compatability will be very likely.

Did those leaked Max Payne 3 files come up as fake? Pretty sure they did, and that was like a 50 page document of just text.

I've seen this floating around the web for over a year now I believe, but Microsoft can't be that stupid to put a 2 Ghz dual core processor in a new machine.

Soon as I read the specs I figured its fake.

IMO, they can't release a console at a competitive price (competitive in the console market) with specs like that.
