What's your favourite custom gamemode on GTA IV (preferably original IV).

I enjoy Free Mode with RPGs only in the Airport, where 80% of the people are RPGing everyone into the air, and the other 20% are scrambling to the Annihilators. It's pretty fun, kinda rare on the PS3 and it reminds me of the Battle of Mogadishu a bit.

Games like that were very common on PSN, when the game was in it's online infancy.
Personally, I like FM in Dukes/Broker with all weapons, high peds and parked traffic, with a medium respawn.
That, or a DM at the prison with SMGs.

I hate it when people turn off peds in FM. I prefer the whole map but I stick to Alderney and Dukes/Broker.

GTA Race > Free Race/Canonbal Run > Weapons All > Traffic Parked is always good fun becouse its a challenge to find a car

On PS3 I wish there was a way that you could search for game modes with certain parameters. It'd be goo did you could go into your phone and select the preferences and then click 'join match' and it out you in a game (with this preferences).

Protecting the Wolf - Lone Wolf Biker, FF on, and teams set up, protect your wolf and kill the other sides wolf. Team with most time wins.

Just a fun game mode I play with friends


It's called Hobo.

Now 2 people have to defend either a hot dog stand, a store or something with food

While a swarm of hobos who can only use melee have to kill all the defender and steal the food

It's awesome at max players.

He's asking about custom settings. Like your previous post for example.

PRISON BREAK.

Location: PRISON
Weapons: WEAK
Auto Aim: OFF
Friendly fire: PREFERABLE OFF (to avoid spawn killing)
Cops: ON
Peds: HIGH
Traffic: HIGH
Respawn: 5sec
Respawn distance: FAR

Wanna have weapons? Kill cops ... only SWAT will get you M4.
Escape from prison ... you die and you respawn back in prison.

Makes me sad, that I can never get people to even try to play this settings ... usually they just quit right after join.
