Well, after reading the GI article and browsing the image, there is one thing on my mind. Microsoft.
Games have to be broken down into multiple CD's just for Xbox to run the damn thing. And Grand Theft Auto V's engine and graphics look a lot more complex than other games that require multiple discs. And the map size is going to be gi-f*cking-normous!

My point is, how will Microsoft handle this? I'm guessing that a game like this will have 3 discs if not more. But that completely ruins gaming experience IMO. I have having to change discs to play Assassin's Creed 3's multiplayer. Is there an alternative way?

I just bought Halo 4, which has 2 disks. The second disk you HAVE to install to play multiplayer which is 8 gigs. That is the biggest pain in the ass, now I only have like 2 gigs left. If there is two disks on Xbox I will buy it for the PS3. But I would much prefer the 360.

People telling you the xbox can't handle it are just console warmongers who don't actually know what they're talking about and are merely trying to upset you in any way possible. Ignore them.

I'm not sure how many, but I assume it will be multiple discs. LA Noire crashed on my 360 multiple times, and Max Payne had a couple hiccups as well.

Just get a PS3. For the Xbox 360 one disc will be for Single Player and the other will be Multiplayer.

xbox can render the world a lot better than PS3, as well as having better resolution

RDR was only 1 disc.

MP3 and L.A noire were 3 because of assf*ck long storylines.

I've not had my brand new white slim console more than 6 months. Let the bitch explode! I have a full warranty! BUT the thing I have to think about now is buying another usb thumb drive... Maybe just dedicate that thumb drive to gtav... Lots to prepare for!

I don't think Rockstar is that Money hunger anymore. Besides they rather do a deal with Sony since they been partner for a longer time.

That's because it includes Undead Nightmare DLC on the second disc. RDR itself is 1 disc

LOL. Having more than one disk doesn't upgrade your hardware. LOL.

There will be one disk and xbox 360 will be able to run it. R* is good with optimization.

GTA being on multiple discs would be a worrying thought.

However, with the 360 having a hard drive, I see no reason why one disc can't just contain the city, which could be installed to the hard drive, and the second disc could contain the necessary information for the story/voices/etc.?

My IV experience was entirely 360 based, but if it'll be multiple discs, I'll side with the PS3 (which isn't a winning thought, either, as I much prefer the 360 joypad).

It will probably have you install the second disk but I have no worries if it's a large file I have the slim 250GB xbox and it ran Mp3 with no problems what so ever so don't worry man biggrin.gif
